Resources

Plain-English guides, FAQs and a glossary for non-residents dealing with Spanish tax.

How to use these resources

This section gathers spainfiscal's reference material for foreign owners and residents in Spain. Each part answers a different need, so it helps to know where to start.

The guides explain a whole subject from start to finish: which tax applies, who pays it, the deadlines and which mistakes cost the most. They are kept up to date when the law changes and cite their official sources, from the BOE to the Spanish tax agency.

Tax news entries are dated. Each one covers a single change, when it applies from and who it affects, and takes you to the guide that explains it in depth.

The FAQ gives short answers to the questions people ask most, and the glossary translates the terms you meet on Spanish forms and tax letters, such as cadastral value, NIE or modelo 210.

If, after reading, you are still not sure what applies to you, write to us: a chartered adviser reviews your case and replies on the same business day.
